Setting up a project

Learn how to create and configure a new project in Caplena to begin analyzing your text data.

Step 1: Start a New Project

  1. Navigate to the Projects tab.

  2. Click New Project in the top-right corner of the screen.

    Step 2: Enter Project Details

    Project Name & Context
    Give your project a clear and descriptive name. You can also add optional context, such as the target audience or goal of your analysis, to help the AI generate more relevant insights.

    Main Language
    Select the primary language of your text data. If your dataset contains multiple languages, you can enable Automatic Translation.

    Step 3: Configure Settings (Optional)

    You can customize your project setup with the following options:

    • Anonymization
      Enable this setting to automatically remove personal information from your text data. For more information, please follow this link.

    • Automatic Translation
      Turn this on if your dataset includes multiple languages to ensure consistent analysis. For more information, please follow this link.


     

    Step 4: Proceed to Data Import

    Click Continue to move on to the data import step. You’ll be presented with several options to bring your data into Caplena:

    Option 1: Upload a File

    Import your dataset in one of the supported formats: .xls, .xlsx, .csv, .txt, .spss, or .sav.


    Option 2: Use an Integration

    Streamline your setup by connecting to one of our pre-built integrations.

    Option 3: Import via API

    Automate your workflow by using Caplena’s API to import data from your internal systems.
